We Shall Overcome

Its a nice song... It reminds me of my childhood days.. we used to sing this song in the prayer back when I was in Cambridge School, Noida.. here is the song..
 We Shall Overcome

We shall overcome
We shall overcome
We shall overcome some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

We'll walk hand in hand
We'll walk hand in hand
We'll walk hand in hand some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

We shall all be free
We shall all be free
We shall all be free some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

We are not afraid
We are not afraid
We are not afraid some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

We are not alone
We are not alone
We are not alone some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

The whole wide world around
The whole wide world around
The whole wide world around some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

We shall overcome
We shall overcome
We shall overcome some day

Oh, deep in my heart
I do believe
We shall overcome some day

My life… in the past few months

Wow! Didn’t write for a long time.... not good... but couldn’t help it, I just didn’t get the time… had been busy a lot, as I had my 1st minor (project), which unfortunately didn’t turn out quite well (just like everything else I my life recently...) and by saying that it did not go well it does not mean at all that I didn’t work on it or that I was not serious about it. It was just that I expected a better final evaluation… anyways... leaving that stuff behind...

On the brighter side, there were some good things that happened too -
Like the trip to bharatpur/fatehpur sikri was good - A fun packed weekend out with friends! worth mentioning here is the long-long bicycle ride in the fresh morning air, getting excited about seeing a bird or two, fear of the tiger running loose in the jungle, daring to go on for that extra stretch…  and clicking so many pics… stopping here and there just for clicking pics... it was all fun. And yeah, not to forget the gang here – Pankaj Pandey (PunkAsS), Sahil Agarwal (RuBy), Saurabh Goyal, Nishchal Jain, Deepak Chaurasia, Suyog, Suhas, Gajju, Manas, Siddharth Glati (Gullu) and last but not the least – Me (JoJo) ;-).

I went on to the college trip too, considering that this was my 3rd year and I probably won’t be getting many chances to go on such a trip with everyone after this.On the trip had fun with – Tushar Goel, Saanchie Sachdev, bittu (my sis), Mayank Agarwal, Vaibhav Sinha, Nitika Arora and Ashu (the president ;-)). We went: (via) Chandigarh to Manali - Rohtang - Manikaran. It was great too had many 1st experiences there like -
Entered a gurudwara for the 1st time, ate in a langar.
Saw a Yak, and sat on it for the 1st time,
Saw real snow, and got half buried in it for the 1st time, threw snow balls at each other.
Ate maggi at Rs 50 a plate! Omg!! And yeah drank lots of coffee too!!

Had some of the best and also, sadly the worst moments of my life in the past few months… but I guess that’s what all life is about – a little joy with some pain…

Keep smiling… :-)

Lyf at kanpur.

hello everyone!!

This is my first post from kanpur - my hometown!
so i m going to tell you all a little about my life here at kanpur.
most of the day passes by quite uneventfully..staying back at home.. just chilling!
most of the times its just too hot outside to do anything..though the weather is getting a lil easy now.. hoping for rains soon... went out to see a movie recently with bro - Prince of Persia... its good...
had to get up early in the morning to catch the morning show, but I enjoyed it.

Apart from that on the professional front, I had taken up an assignment at IIT-Kanpur.. so have been working on that.It involves a project in database management and the platform used is VB and SQL Plus.
well so the work was going on quite well until unfortunately my laptop just went dead and decided not to start.. :(
So i ended up losing all the important Data including my project work and had to restart it again.!
1 weeks hard work gone just like that.!

Anyways leaving that, life at home is quite fun n relaxing actually..
The good things include :
Not having to get up in the morning to go to class!
Eating tasty food.. (Yummy!!) :D
Teasing my lil sis :P
Watching TV Shows.. which I don't like that much now... same old boring things all the time..  but its still on the list..
Getting time for my interest.--> Painting n Sketching!
Will upload some of my creations as soon as i create something worth showing...

but there are some not so good things too...
like missing hostel life and frenz..!
but that can be countered... by meeting old school friends.. n having fun at home! :D

I have another trip planned for Guna (M.P) going for a fortnight meeting the family and stuff.. looking forward to that too. as its been long since we were all together. Will write about that too when i get back..

hey.. n also check out the new theme for the blog.. n do give your views n comments :)

Bye for now... enjoy !!

Taj Mahal, Agra

hi friends..!!

This is a pic of My trip to Agra - I went just after the exams with friends - Sahil, Pankaj and my roomie - Bhuvan(first time outing with room-mate) and it was really awesome! had lots of fun saw the Taj Mahal (got up at 6 in the morning to go there!!) and the Agra Fort! And also roamed about in the city. Agra is a nice city and the first thing you'll notice there is the large number of doctors there. Every street has at least one doctor or a clinic or a medical store!!

We had a really funny incident - An old guy (some villager) we met at taj mahal - he came to us and asked which one of them was "taj mahal"!!! lol! That was so funny we almost laughed in front of him.I mean isn't it obvious that the Big white building there is the taj and not the small red one! He was confused between taj mahal and another building on the left which was just some gate or something. Okay I know we shouldn't have laughed like this but it was just too funny!! :-P
We saw another man - a foreigner who looked too happy on seeing the taj. By the expression on his face it seemed as if he was in heaven! - we didn't have that type of experience. lol!

Apart from that all of us also had some first timers... for example - for my roomie and pankaj this was the first time to taj mahal,(pankaj got a little disappointed with taj - guess he was expecting something more ;-) ) and for all of us it was a first ride on a camel driven cart!!! that was cool! then we went for a city trip on a bus! that was fun too but we all got cooked in the heat.
Overall the trip was quite fun. Can take a few more like this in the coming years!!  :-)

Bye.

Time to get a little naughty ;)

"Forgive, O Lord, my little jokes on Thee,And I'll forgive Thy great big one on me."-Robert Frost
Its April Fools' Day - A day when we can pull off silly pranks with a ready-made excuse. :)
I have also tried some pranks earlier and not all of them went pretty well actually (i hurt some people with my pranks unintentionally) so I recommended to be careful. (sorry to all those to whom i did hurt.)

It is believed that April Fools' day was celebrated in old times to make fun of those people who celebrated new year on 1st April instead of January 1st. Well that was past... here is the fun part: here are some fun ideas for pranks to try out on your friends ;)

!!DISCLAIMER: These Pranks are just for fun. try at your own risk. Writer wont be responsible for any consequeces.!!

1.) Sneeze trick: get a small spray bottle and fill it with water then get behind someone and sneeze loudly while spraying the water. the person will feel as if you have sneezed on him.

2.)Reverse psycology: pick a victim and tell him beforehand that april fools day is comming keep reminding him and tell him that you are a great practical joker, and when finally april fools' day comes do nothing.he will already be so scared that anything you say or do will seem to be a prank to him

3.)Put a pillow or a book at the top of the door and open it little bit so that whenever anyone walks in the book or pillow falls on them (if you want to be bit nastier try a mug/small bucket filled with water)

4.)Stuff some toilet-paper or tissue paper inside the sole of someone's shoed so they will have trouble getting their feet into it.

5.)Alarm clocks: take few alarm clocks and set them at different times early in the morning and hide them randomly in the victim's room. He will have a tough time finding and switching-off all of them.

6.)funny looks: The night before April Fools Day, draw funny eye-brows with a marker. In the morning, your target might not even notice their new look if they are in a hurry, and even if they do notice they probably won't be able to scrub the marker off completely.

Happy Fooling Around!! :D

A brief Intro to me

Hey people I have finally decided to write on my blog.
I actually started this blog without actually knowing what exactly to write here... so after much thinking i have come up with this first post hope you like it.

This post will be about Myself - A Brief introduction to me :)

I am a simple guy. Most of my friends think I am too emotional but that is not true. I accept that yes I am a bit emotional but not always. Well I am attached to my family, but then who is not?

Apart from that I am really addicted to music. There is not a single day when I don't listen to songs at least once. I also love painting or sketching a lot but unfortunately don't get much time for it now-a-days in this busy schedule. Even won some painting competition in school days! ;)

On the professional front i am currently doing B.Tech. in Noida, My branch is my favorite - CSE. For this branch I had left the top colleges in UPTU because I was not getting CSE at HBTI. but I most certainly don't regret my choice now :)

I think this is enough for now will come back with something more next time..
Bye.
Cheers!!!    :D
