OMG! What's happening?

something really strange happened today..
I actually attempted to write a poem - an real poem with rhyming words. wow!

this is new, never done that before... and maybe that's why nothing good came out of it , till yet  because it was my first time. Am still working on it. managed to get a few words to rhyme somehow, figuring out the rest.. 

i m planning to share it on the blog iff it doesn't come out as too lame.. :P
or maybe , I'll share it anyways.. who cares, people still think i am lame anyways.. So yeah..
n yeah... in the poem(it's just 'The Poem' for now, no title given yet.), the word 'love' occurred multiple times .. huh.. amazing... Mr. "JoJo" here writing a poem! and that too about love!!  I'd definitely love to see that now!

Instead of blogging here about it, I should be thinking of more rhyming words. good ones, so help me out.. suggest some good rhyming words..!!
the ones rhyming with divine, remember, ...

Airtel - nearing the end

life has gone pretty smooth in the past few days - during my training period, which is going to be over soon.

and though I had lots of "masti" during the training, I got to learn quite a lot from it too, visited the site i.e. the BTS- towers which receive and transmit the signals, saw the various components inside, etc.. anyways skipping the technical part...
met many new people from the office. in fact, our training in-charge introduced us to almost half of the staff in our department (Tech. Dept.) during the 1st 10 days only and they all shared their knowledge and expertise in their specific field(s) of work.

also met other trainees from different colleges, shared experiences with them. Currently, we are  working together (with totally new people) on the final project report which is to be submitted at the office detailing all the work done during the training period.

We had a cabin of our own at the office. which was shared by 3 people and later on by 6 people as more trainees joined. Today, we got shifted to the conference room because 5 more new trainees joined today.
took a "class" of those new trainees... briefed them about some of the stuff which was taught to us earlier. and that too in a conference room!! felt good.. lol.. :D
the overall experience of a trainee was quite good.  :)

In the end one thing still remains though. - Filling the Training Diary :P
Though I do have a record of my day to day work - but in a soft copy which is still to be copied on to the training diary... feeling too lazy to do that..
As always too lazy to write down anything.. in a habit of typing everything.. remember D2D for minor II (soft copy.. lol)..  :P

Weirdness

Wow this is weird.!
there are 3 back-to-back posts about cricket on my blog, - my blog - A hardcore cricket hater's Blog!!
anyone going through this will think that i too am a cricket freak like all others.. this is not good.

"My world" is more about music.. i am addicted to music. n so i think there should be more about music and such stuff in here.. would definitely work upon it, and post something relevant here soon..

new internship at airtel lucknow.. sitting in office right now, doing facebook.. and some studying too.. GSM architecture and stuff...  bored.. so thought of blogging..
interesting/ new experience at office.. met many new people, and have lots of new thing to share on the blog... but would do that later wen i have more time.. :)

World cup comes to India!

People were already on their feet even before the ball had hit the boundary for the winning six!! The crowd went wild!! there was madness all around - some were shouting, some dancing on the stage, some were literally crying even - tears of happiness. others were just running about looking overjoyed!!

There was a deafening roar in the Auditorium as India had won the world cup. I witnessed a truly historic event in the world of cricket, watched the final from starting till the end - the complete match in the college auditorium with my friends which made it even more fun and exciting. At every decision which favored India, people started dancing and shouting happily, waving the Indian flag, dancing, jumping... it was just too fun to watch.

The whole auditorium had went silent when Sehwag had gone out at the 2nd ball of the 1st over. and the silence was even more deeper when Sachin shared the same fate after a few overs.Disappointment was clearly visible on the faces of everyone as Sachin left the field, some people even left the auditorium - too disheartened to continue watching. But in the end it was a happy ending for India as we won!!

Post match, we went to the cafe to grab a quick bite as we all had kind of.. skipped dinner because of the match.. then there were fireworks n crackers outside the hostel. people were waving the Indian flag on a bike in front of the hostels. I am sure the match would not have been as much fun while watching it alone(without friends) at home, as there was a different spirit of the game while watching it with friends - the shouting, ( cursing :P ), craziness and madness all this could never have been achieved at home sitting quietly and watching.!! :P

This World cup really did change me, I started enjoying cricket. the last two posts on my blog are all about cricket! and the last two matches of India I watched with my own free will, no one forced me to watch them and still I watched them complete from beginning till the end without getting bored, guess it was because I was watching with friends and everything was too exciting.! I loved it.
hope this cricket love lasts for me...! :P

A Phenomenal Victory for India

Wow what an awesome match... and once again my Facebook wall is filled with feeds about today's match all containing praise about India.
I took the day off from college, slept late.. till 1.30 PM... then went to the college auditorium where most of the college had gathered to watch the match and the atmosphere there was ecstatic everyone was shouting and cheering for India and I assume that the scene would not have been much different had we been watching the match at the stadium-  people were wearing Blue everywhere, some had their faces painted with the Indian flag or team India written on their arms, we were waving the Indian flag every time the ball hit the boundary for team India or every time a Pakistani Batsman got out. By the end the excitement level had reached to such an extent that everyone was on their feet and shouting at every ball. There were fireworks too after the match. It was like an early Diwali for India.

after this match even I am eagerly awaiting the World Cup final against Sri Lanka on 2nd April. Maybe they declare a holiday in college once again and we get to see the match together in the Auditorium once more :)

India vs Pakistan - World Cup 2011 - Semi Final

Finally, its time, the much hyped world cup 2011 semi final match between India and Pakistan is going to be played tomorrow. The reason for the Hype?

1. Its the World Cup semi final.
2. Its happening in a country where cricket is treated as a religion. and sachin is GOD.
3. its India vs Pakistan

these 3 reasons are enough to make people take a day off from work and sit back in their home enjoying the match. People are declaring self-proclaimed holidays for tomorrow and my Facebook wall is filled with post about the match ( this post is going to be added to those once i post it there :P )
Even our college has declared an official half day as the match is starting at 2.30PM and believe me, after spending almost 3 very tedious years of my life in this college i can tell you this for sure that college declaring a half day like this is something really BIG.

even though I am not much of a cricket fan, and me writing about Cricket on my blog is really unimaginable! but here is the post right before you.! actually this world cup is changing me.. some how I am actually following the matches in this world cup - at least all matches of India.
I even played cricket with some friends today after many years(maybe 6 or more... long time!). It was my first time with cricket in this college i guess. felt good. really needed the exercise as we are doing nothing but sitting around with our laptops these days... n getting fat :P
Though I accept, I suck at cricket - can't help it - not much of a bowler, can touch the ball with the bat sometimes... :P yeah, but I did try... and my team actually won all three of the matches which were played!!! so it was awesome :D

Back from the 'Mid-Sem break'

Back to college from the Holi Break... I don't play much holi  but still managed to get some color on me somehow...
This holi felt different though... something was missing... this was my first holi without you and it just didn't feel right...

after a week long stay at home i came back to college, and the return journey was one of a kind really... took 18 hours to get from Kanpur to Noida (normally it takes around 6 hrs) via Train! The train was late 12 hours and we had to wait for 6 hrs on the Station ( that boring waiting room!! )
and back in the hostel, I was welcomed with countless blood-thirsty mosquitoes(ooooh I hate mosquitoes!) and frequent power cuts- luckily, this time the blackout was for the whole hostel not for me alone :P

n yeah planning to work on a comic strip/cartoon thing soon... been working on some ideas... will post some stuff here soon enough.!

T2 time!!

Going through one of the 'not so good' phases of my life.. feeling bored of everything.
n even my best songs are not able to cheer up my mood... Totally bored of sitting n wasting my time on Facebook... It would be better to deactivate my account for a while.

moreover the exams are starting from Tuesday that is three days from now. Trying my best to study... i don't know what i m gonna do.!!

looking forward to the Mid-Sem break coming up after the Exams... Holi time.. maybe a change from this monotonous life might bring me back to life... :-|

Jive '11 - Footloose...!!!

Jive is the name of our college's annual fest n footloose happens to be this year's theme for the fest.
It was during 3-6th feb 2011. 3 days n 4 nights of total masti n fun!!!

I coordinated an event in the fest: 'Tech Tambola' which was in the 'technical society' - though considering the level of the questions which we had used, there was nothing technical about the quiz at all :P
but yeah, it went pretty good... fortunately many people turned up to participate to make the event more fun n interesting...

apart from that I myself did some crazy stuff too... like wearing a wig n getting my hair (not real hair, the wig's hair :P ) cropped by my frnds - in Rhianna Style lol :D
and running wildly doing crazy tasks like clicking a pic with a lizard n weird stuff... and searching for random items like a blue n a white shoe.. LOL :D


Enjoyed these events at day time and Dj n dancing in the night.. was especially rocking on the last night when RDB was performing.. a Huge crowd had turned up..  n everyone was just too excited.!!

overall had an awesome time!!  :D

Welcome 2011

Hi, and a Happy New Year 2011!!! A bit too late on the wishes though... : P but hey, this is my first post in the New Year!!
So here I am wishing all my friends a happy new year... and hoping this one to be a better and more adventurous year than the last one.

The first few days of the year passed by quite plainly except for the freezing cold weather outside, resulting in me getting a cold n a sore throat (as usual)
But yeah got the chance to develop a (or rather revive an old) hobby of mine because all the free time I am getting these days. I spent some time in drawing... casual only, not exactly into any professional stuff or anything... but yeah it was good - I mean pursuing your hobby is something which is always encouraged. Hope to put up the creations here soon enough.

A new year always brings new hope, new expectations, dreams and the new year resolutions, which honestly are no good unless you seriously plan to actually follow them, which is very rare... so I decided not to have any this year. I mean why pretend to have a resolution and not actually follow it. It’s better to not have any and live hassle free.
